A walk into nature
A Moment of Stillness is a contemplative photographic exhibition by Christian Fletcher, bringing together new and earlier works from a practice spanning more than three decades. Based in the South West and known for his gallery in Dunsborough, Fletcher explores landscape through light, atmosphere and perception, creating images that move beyond documentation to evoke experience, memory and presence.
Working across coastal, inland and aerial perspectives, Fletcher’s photographs are shaped through timing, observation and sustained attention to the natural environment. At the centre of the exhibition is what Fletcher describes as “a moment of stillness” - a point where light, place and perception align. Through atmosphere and duration, the works invite viewers into a quieter, reflective encounter with landscape and the experience of place.
Artist talks will be held 10:30am – 11am Monday 29 June, Tuesday 30 June and Wednesday 1 July, offering insight into Fletcher’s history, technique and the ideas behind the exhibition. Free entry, all welcome.
Opening Function – 5pm Friday 26 June 2026
Art after dark – 5pm Friday 10 July - Ease into the weekend with Friday night drinks at Saltwater Bar, as the gallery shifts tempo for a relaxed, after-hours experience.
