Brush and Earth – Adventures in Canvas and Clay

This fun and creative exhibition brings together two local artists who have been life-long friends, teaming up to share their love for nature through two very different art forms. Think bold, textured landscapes on canvas alongside quirky, hand-crafted clay creatures.

Rebecca brings energy to the canvas through bold, expressive brushstrokes, capturing the movement and emotion of the landscapes and coastal scenes she has always known and loved. Her work reflects a deep connection to the places she calls home.

Carol, with a background in textiles, has turned her focus to clay - creating playful ceramic characters that are full of personality. Adding timber, wire, and her own hand-felted textiles to playful pieces to invite smiles - and spark conversation - with the light-hearted stories they reveal.

Together, their art is all about connection - between friends, materials, and imagination.
