Chasing the Light - Gerald Ashcroft’s upcoming exhibition running from September 4 - 23, is set to be a vibrant celebration of the Southwest landscape, painted en plein air, from Busselton to Margaret River. These coastal and pastoral scenes capture the fleeting beauty of early morning and late afternoon light across the seasons, from sun-drenched summer beaches to the lush greens and moody skies of winter.

After a journey into abstraction, Gerald returns to his roots with oil on canvas board, using brush and palette knife to bring immediacy and spontaneity back to his work. Each piece is a moment seized - fresh, alive, and deeply connected to place. This exhibition invites you to experience the landscape anew, stirring memories, emotions, and that unmistakable pull of home.
