Regional Arts Triennial

In the Quiet of the Land

Busselton has been announced as one of 13 regional hubs for the third iteration of the Regional Arts Triennial (RAT 3)!

Set to open in February 2026, In the Quiet of the Land will feature a selection of works by ten talented South West artists.

Local artist, Japneet Kaur Keith has been engaged as guest curator for this exhibition. She will work with Saltwater Gallery curator Sharon Williams to review submissions from local artists and will soon announce the selected creatives who will be featured in this outstanding celebration of local talent.

Japneet said expressions of interest came from a diverse and talented group of established and emerging artists.

“I want to extend my heartfelt appreciation to all of you for supporting RAT 3 with your amazing creative ideas,” Japneet said.

“It has been deeply encouraging to see the enthusiasm and passion for events like this within our region.”

“With your collaboration and shared energy, I am confident that together we will make this a truly successful and inspiring event for our community.”

“Thank you for your support and for contributing your creativity to RAT 3.”

Further to the RAT3 exhibition in February 2026, several pieces will be displayed in Perth. Selected works will tour across the state with ART ON THE MOVE.
