The Police Station
Built in 1861 by Henry Yelverton, the Police Station was once the operational hub of law and order within the Old Courthouse Complex. From here, officers carried out their daily duties, managed the adjoining lock-up, and oversaw the movement of detainees through the courthouse.
Positioned between the Day Room and the Gallery Store, the former Police Station now stands as a heritage-listed space transformed. Today, it offers a distinctive venue for exhibitions by emerging artists, where the echoes of history meet contemporary creativity.
