Join us for the opening function of “Brush and Earth – Adventures in Canvas and Clay.” This vibrant coastal exhibition by Southwest artists Carol Mulhearn and Rebecca Miller blends sculptural ceramics and expressive painting, offering viewers a dynamic experience that reflects the natural beauty and textured spirit of the region.

In Brush and Earth, the artists’ works are thoughtfully juxtaposed - bold, atmospheric canvases hang in dialogue with detailed ceramic sculptures, creating a compelling interplay between form, colour, and story. Carol Mulhearn’s sculptural works explore two distinct themes: whimsical, character-rich dogs that each seem to tell their own story, and elegant whale forms that capture the raw, natural beauty of the ocean. Rebecca Miller’s expressive paintings complement these sculptures with sweeping brushstrokes and vivid palettes that evoke the shifting moods of the coastal landscape.
